Keto Super Easy White Pizza Sauce
White pizza sauce was always something of an oddity for me.
Why would you deviate from the good ol’ fashioned tomato sauce which is almost like the life blood of pizza?! We even posted a Keto Pizza Sauce recipe here.
Well, when I first tried white pizza sauce, I was kind of awestruck. But that was back before Keto.
A lot of white pizza sauce recipes start with a roux (which uses white flour; definitely not keto), so they’ve been off the table for a while.
Most of those recipes basically make glorified cheese sauces.
There’s nothing wrong with that! But it’s too many carbs for Keto. So, Rebecca and I went to work creating our own recipe.
We wanted our white pizza sauce recipe to be way simpler than the others we found online. Making a Keto pizza from scratch is already a long, involved process without adding a complicated sauce to the mix.
Our white pizza sauce is easy with only a few ingredients, but it also tastes fantastic on a Keto pizza or cheesy flatbread! So let’s get into to…
Ingredients – Notes
There are only 5 ingredients in this white pizza sauce.
Just make sure to get the full fat kind. This is Keto!
Grated Parmesan Cheese seems to find its way into a lot of our baked dishes. It adds some salt, some texture, and a mild, savory note.
Suffice to say, it's become a kitchen staple for us. We use it so much, we buy the large containers of it to save money.
Amazon Prime pantry makes it crazy easy to get because someone just brings it to you. Who wants to go shopping when you can just get it in the mail?!
NOTE: I don’t list salt among the ingredients because Parmesan cheese tends to have enough salt in it for this recipe. Also, pizza toppings (particularly cured meats) tend to be a little salty. If you add salt to your white sauce, be conservative and taste before you add it.
Nothing flavors a dish like garlic.
It's nice to use fresh garlic when possible, but it's not always convenient or on hand.
I keep this minced garlic in my kitchen all the time. It's really just as good as fresh garlic, but it's a lot easier and faster to add it to a recipe. And it has a much longer shelf life.

Granulated Onion is ok in this recipe, but I prefer Onion Powder just for the texture.
When you put your sauce through a blender or food processor, it will smooth out the lumps from the Paremesan, but granulated onion will stay a little grainy.
When it’s on the pizza, you may not even notice. So this is totally a preference thing.
Instructions – Notes
There’s basically one step. Put all the ingredients in a blender or food processor and mix the bejesus out of it. Stop when it’s smooth and creamy.
The only real note here is, if you let the cream cheese get up to room temperature or microwave it for 20 seconds or so to soften it, the mixing process will go a little faster.
Serving this Keto White Pizza Sauce
Obviously this sauce is great on Keto pizza. When we were in the tasting, tweaking, and note taking part of creating this recipe, we used our Keto Flatbread recipe as a vehicle for the sauce, and it pairs with it perfectly.
This Keto White Pizza Sauce recipe is also excellent as a dipping sauce for Keto Breadsticks, and as a topping for baked or grilled chicken.
I topped a chicken breast with this sauce, roasted it in a 500F degree oven for about 20 minutes, then dusted the top with a little extra parmesan cheese, and baked it for another 5 minutes. It was amazing!
It’s so easy to make, you should make a bunch and experiment with different applications in the kitchen. We definitely will! Let us know what ideas you come up with.

Keto White Pizza Sauce
This 5 ingredient pizza sauce is creamy, garlicy and yummy! You won't believe how easy it is to make.
Let cream cheese rest on the counter for a couple hours to reach room temp, or microwave in 20 second increments until it's soft enough to stir with a spoon.
Add all ingredients to a blender or food processor and blend until sauce is smooth.
No cooking is required, but gently warming in a pot on low heat is acceptable. You can also warm the sauce in the microwave in 20 second increments until desired temp is reached.
Note: You typically only need to warm the sauce after its been refrigerated. It only needs to be warm enough to spread on your pizza crust.
Note on the Nutrition Information:
An average pizza has 3/4 cup of sauce on it, so this recipe should make enough sauce for 4 pizzas. Most pizzas are cut into 8 slices, so each slice would contain 3/4 of an ounce of sauce. Most people will eat at least 2 slices, so that would mean a serving of this sauce is about an ounce and a half. For the nutritional facts, I rounded the serving size up to 2 ounces to make things easier.
